Previous experience:

Prior to JKSL I worked in Admin/Data Operations related roles at various branches of a North-West Motor Dealership Group. I started with the Company from school on YTS and was with them for over 20yrs until made redundant. I then went on to work for a couple of Security providers in an Admin / Payroll role, some close to home and some as far afield as Wakefield and Birkenhead (another world as far as I’m concerned). All with a cracking bunch of folks – I take back everything I’ve ever said about scousers (…..well, most of it anyway).

Job Title: Contracts & Marketing Assistant

Company experience: At JKSL I’m involved with initial enquiries and liaising with our Survey team to arrange surveys. I also collate the information for new works and supply our Accounts team with details required for invoicing Clients. More recently, I’m looking to have more involvement with the Blogs and our IBG systems. I’ve not been with JKSL long so my role is still developing.

Favourite part of your job: It’s nice speaking with people when they make enquiries and being able to help and offer advice. I feel very lucky to work in such a friendly environment with a great bunch of people.

Least favourite part of your job: I can’t really say that I’ve been with JKSL long enough to have developed a love/hate relationship with any part of my role yet. However, that being said sometimes scanning documents can be a real pain in the preverbial. I swear there’s a little gremlin sat in the machine with a massive grin on its face just waiting to snag page 95 out of the 100. Either that or it’s some sort of initiation and I’m being secretly filmed……..not that I’m paranoid or anything.

Interests away from work: I like to chill out with friends and have a girly catch up. I’m also currently resurrecting my interest in the Guitar again. I used to play quite a bit but then it sort of fell by the wayside. I have a few personal goals that I’m aiming towards. Outside of that I tend to do quite a bit of DIY around the home which is pretty rewarding and there’s always something to do.

Favourite line from a film: Say “what” again. Say “what” again. I dare you. I double dare you…by Jules (Samuel L Jackson) in Pulp Fiction

If I could be anywhere right now I'd be: Cornwall. I absolutely love the place – it feels like a second home. I’ve been going there on holiday for donkey’s years as a little kid (and now as a big kid). The way of life there is so mellow and chilled.
